Job Title: Attending Physician Company: Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Location: Denver, CO Description: The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks an Internal/Family Medicine Physician to provide holistic, primary health care to individuals and families. This challenging, rewarding position will deliver care to homeless patients in a nationally recognized Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) program. Supervises and collaborates with NP and PA staff by co-signing charts daily, helping direct diagnostic and therapeutic plans in difficult cases, and being available for consultation whenever necessary. 3. Collaborates with other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and address the complex issues which may adversely impact the health of homeless clients. 4. Facilitates client participation in self-care by providing information and choices in a non-judgmental, respectful manner. Qualifications Summary 1. Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited school of medicine. 2. Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a physician. 3. Current DEA licensure. 4. Completion of an accredited Residency Program in the physician's specialty. 5. Board Certified or Board Eligible status in the physician's specialty preferred. 6. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 7. Able to pass automobile insurance carrier's motor vehicle record investigation.
