Applicant must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy (M.D. or D.O.) and meet all licensing/certification requirements to practice as a Cardiologist Physician. Applicants must be board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Applicant must have and maintain a valid license to practice in one of the 50 states/territories of the United States; must possess and maintain valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certifications throughout the contract period of performance; must meet or exceed currently recognized national standards as established by the Joint Commission.
