The candidate must be board-certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and must have an academic background with experience in basic or clinical research.The Neonatologist will join the neonatal program at University Hospital of Brooklyn. Clinical duties include being responsible for inpatient rotations on the clinical service of the Neonatal Division. This includes rotations in the NICU, on site night calls once a week, week-end calls, developmental clinic, and newborn transport. The successful candidate will also serve as supervising physician in the residency training program and will be expected to conduct hypothesis-based research leading towards the acquisition of extramural grant support.
