The Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville and the James Graham Brown Cancer center are seeking a full time faculty member in hematopathology. Service responsibility will include immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, bone marrow and lymph node interpretation and the Director of Hematopathology at the University of Louisville Hospital and Director of the Clinical Flow Cytometry Facility of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
The candidates should have a strong interest in developing academic programs in research, maintaining scholarly activities and participate in graduate and undergraduate medical education. Applicants with a hematopathology fellowship and board certification in the specialty or a strong interest in hematopathology would be viewed favorably. A track record of publications demonstrating clinical and scientific accomplishments is most desirable. The applicants must be board certified in anatomic or combined anatomic and clinical pathology and be qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The academic rank, tenure and salary will be based upon level of qualifications, experience and scholarly accomplishments.
The Division of Anatomic Pathology is supported by several state-of-the-art research and diagnostic laboratories, including strong core instrument facilities with modern molecular diagnostics capabilities.
