A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Calhoun, Georgia.

This opportunity offers 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, covering cases in general surgery, orthopedics, GYN, urology, neurology, ophthalmology, ENT, pain, podiatry, and OB (excluding hearts, heads, and sick pediatrics). The facility is not a trauma center and includes medical direction across seven anesthetizing locations: five ORs, one GI suite, and float coverage for OB epidurals (with OB C-sections included in the six POS). The annual case volume is approximately 7,567, with about 578 OB deliveries per year, including 186 C-sections. Anesthesia providers generally supervise at a 1:31:4 ratio, including stat C-sections, sick urology, and general surgery cases.
