KRC.1015.0319.03C This Orthopedic Group is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon (ORS) to join our thriving practice. We are actively looking for a driven, professional surgeon who can join our growing private practice and build their career in Kansas. Our physicians and staff strive to provide comprehensive caring and professional musculoskeletal services to central Kansas. Our physicians bring the latest in surgical innovations and orthopedic techniques. Our mission is to serve our community with the best possible orthopedic care for each individual patient.
Our clinic sees patients Monday through Thursday, with Friday available to fit in extra surgeries or to visit patients at one of our two satellite clinics. It is important that our candidates share a passion for patient care and a drive to continue growing the already thriving practice. In 2015, our physicians performed more than 1,600 surgeries with lots of room for additional growth for a third general ortho provider. Our physicians have a reputation that draws patients from a 90-mile radius. We are a 2 Physician, 3 PA's, 2 RN's, 2 LPN's, 2 Medical Assistants, 1 X-Ray Tech, 7 office personnel, and 1 office manager facility. Additionally, we employ 4 Physical Therapists, 2 PTA's, and 2 support staff for the physical therapy division. You will have the opportunity to practice alongside two experienced specialists, with a wide array of cases that will strengthen your surgical skills. We have strong partnerships with employed PA's that assist during surgery, round on patients, take primary call, and extend your ability to see patients on clinic days. We've been an established practice since 1980 and we are proud of our great reputation. We offer an excellent team approach to providing care with and integrated EMR system, including PACS (with remote access), a stable work environment, and a young, enthusiastic support staff. In 2012 our clinic underwent a remodel. We have Digital X-Rays, Successfully Implemented EMR, and a new Physical Therapy Addition. Ideally, for someone to be successful here he/she will need a strong work ethic, ability to offer longitudinal care, and rally around the community and be involved in it. We offer a comprehensive Benefits Package: Paid-Time Off (PTO); Health, Dental, Life and Medical Professional Liability Insurances; Medical License fees and dues. We also have CME Allowance, and even Relocation Allowance, as well as a competitive and negotiable starting salary in the $400k range, and salary is base pay plus performance incentives for this 12-24 month contract. After one year, you will be eligible for 3% 401K contribution plus profit sharing. Malpractice insurance provided through KanCo ($1M/$3M). The schedule for this position is 2 Clinic Days plus 2 Surgery Days M-Th. Call schedule is 1:3. Hospital Reimbursed Weekend Call (with PA being primary call on most weekends). Two satellite locations 1 day/wk.
