Family Medicine Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Clinic in Staten Island, NY

A primary care clinic is seeking a family medicine physician associate for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Staten Island, NY.
This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and 30 minutes of administrative time. The locum will start with a ramp-up of 10 patients per day, increasing to an average of 21. The facility prefers a Family Medicine clinician who can see patients ages 5 and up, but will also consider Internal Medicine clinicians for patients 18 and older. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible with an active DEA and BLS. COVID and flu vaccinations are required with no exceptions, though only the initial COVID shot is needed. The locum will work alongside an LPN who handles injectables, with an MA assisting in prep. Candidates must have at least two years of experienceno new gradsand must have a NY Medicaid number, as credentialing takes about a week if already active, but 180 days otherwise.
