Pediatric Hospitalist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Redding, California

This facility is licensed for 283 beds and is a designated Regional Level II Trauma Center. It also includes a Level III Intermediate Care Nursery and offers a wide range of services, including Cardiac, Medical, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Surgery.

The on-call pediatrician evaluates ER patients in person or by phone based on the ER physicians assessment and serves as the attending for admitted children. Pediatric hospitalists do not attend all deliveriesonly care for well-baby nursery newborns, while neonatologists handle high-risk deliveries.
