Overview:
The Department of Radiology at Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) in Columbus, OH, seeks a pediatric fellowship-trained, CAQ-certified or eligible Pediatric Body Radiologist to join a growing group of 30+ faculty who provide care in all subspecialties of pediatric radiology. Our group has a strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, camaraderie, and innovation. We encourage applications from trainees completing their fellowship in 2025 and practicing radiologists of all academic levels. Alternate Pathway or Visa holders are supported and encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have interest and experience in educating and leading future generations of radiologists. The department has 5 pediatric fellowships available in General Diagnostic, Body, Interventional, Cardiac Imaging, and Neuro Radiology. In addition, NCH serves as the academic teaching hospital for residents in The Ohio State University Radiology, The Ohio State University Pediatrics, University of Toledo Medical Center, and Larkin Community Hospital residency programs.

Essential Functions:
Analyzes medical images to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries.
Communicates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases.
Interprets medical images to identify abnormalities or diseases.
Consults with patients to explain imaging procedures and results.
Maintains accurate patient records and reports.
Operates and maintains imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school, or international equivalent, required.
ACGME accredited fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology or Pediatric Radiology, required.
Licensure Requirement:
Ohio Medical License, required.
Certifications:
Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric Radiology, or equivalent, from the American Board of Radiology, the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or international equivalent, required.
Skills:
Experience:
Experience with the use of imaging technologies such as radiography, fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, MRI, ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine (with injection of radioactive materials), and Interventional Radiology, required.
