Physician - Family Practice

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Ohio. This 60-day assignment begins on 07/14/2025, and offers full-time coverage Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating high complexity patients with chronic illnesses coupled with substance abuse issues who have limited access to healthcare. As a primary care provider, you will work alongside a comprehensive health team to provide essential medical care. Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide primary care services to high complexity patients

Manage chronic illnesses and address substance abuse issues

Work collaboratively with a comprehensive health team

Conduct patient examinations and develop treatment plans

Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate

Refer patients to specialists when necessary

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks EMR

Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices

Adapt to the unique challenges of treating patients with limited access to healthcare

Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
