As a Guthrie Primary Care provider, you play a critical role in caring for our patients in your office while collaborating with Guthrie Specialists through a strong referral network.

Guthrie Owego 5th Avenue - Primary Care seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to practice in our primary care clinic. Build and create a full-spectrum Family Medicine practice with a supportive team of providers and Guthrie staff and administration.

• Practice full-spectrum Family Medicine, seeing patients from birth to geriatrics.

• National Health Service Corp (NHSC) site certified for provider loan forgiveness.
• J1 & H1B visa eligible.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starting at $275,000 annually.
• Starting Bonus - up to $200,000
• Medical school loan repayment - up to $150,000
• Full benefits include medical, dental and disability insurance.
• 403B and 457B retirement options; HSA option.
• Allowance for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals.
• A $10,000 referral bonus will be paid if a physician is referred for employment and hired full-time.
• Salary range - $275,000-$291,000.

Work Life Balance

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. traditional schedule.
• Full-time providers practice 36 patient-facing hours with 4 hours of dedicated administrative desk time.
• Generous Paid Time Off of 35 days annually.
• CME-$3,500 for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.
• Rotating call schedule - phone call only.

Located in Tioga County, Owego is in the Southern Tier of New York. The surrounding area boasts diversity in culture, religion, and lifestyles, and is a 3-hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia, and approximately 30 minutes from Binghamton, NY, home of the first Dicks Sporting Goods store and nearby Binghamton University.

Guthrie Owego 5th Avenue Primary Care is affiliated with Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, which has been serving the town of Owego and surrounding communities with compassionate patient care for the last 100 years. Acquired by Guthrie, a not-for-profit, integrated health care system, in early 2024, Guthrie Lourdes joins Guthrie in serving Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York with six hospitals and 76 regional offices in a 13-county catchment area.
