Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Legacy Health is currently seeking experienced clinician educators to join our dynamic and well established yet expanding Academic Hospitalist Program.

Legacy Academic Medical Group offers:

  • Exciting clinical work at 2 hospitals: Emanuel Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Centers.
  • Attending physician supervising Legacys own Internal Medicine housestaff and rotating students for 8-12 ward weeks per year with additional attending duties on admitting shifts.
  • Flexible scheduling to optimize work-life balance and prioritize personal requests.
  • Abundant opportunities for resident/medical student education, quality work, and committee work.
  • Potential for leadership growth and development.
  • Dedicated multi-disciplinary rounds and robust ancillary services.
  • Collegial and collaborative relationship with nursing and ED staff.
  • Research support from Legacy Research Institute.

Successful candidates will have the following education and experience:

  • Graduate of a 4-year Medical School or equivalent and completed Internal Medicine residency.
  • Board Certified or eligible in internal medicine.
  • Clinical experience in IM (clinical educator experience preferred).
  • Current ACLS certificate from the American Heart Association.
  • 1-year of Hospitalist experience is preferred (CMR year is accepted).
