COPC is the largest independent physician-owned primary care group in the nation. They are seeking an experienced full-time licensed Primary Care Physician to join their team at Dublin Internal Medicine located at 6397 Emerald Parkway in Dublin. The position would begin in December 2025. About the area: This practice is about 16 miles from downtown Columbus and about a 10-20 minute drive from neighboring towns. Columbus can be compared to a small big city. Higher education is strong in Columbus with our University ranked in the top 25. The arts community offers numerous festivals and events, galleries and cool exhibits. There are over 500 parks in Columbus. Ongoing entertainment venues and many popular sports teams including well-known football, hockey and soccer teams can be found here. Golf is a favorite pastime in Columbus with several golf courses in the town and dozens of courses in neighboring communities. If you like to shop, Columbus offers endless retail and there are a great variety of restaurants. It's a foodie town. The business sector is growing with giants like Google, Amazon and Intel here or moving here. Overall, it is a great place to live, work and play. About the practice: This well-established practice has five Physicians, and several medical, and service reps to to support the providers and patients. There is one Physician retiring in late 2025 so the incoming Physician will inherit an established patents. This Primary Care Group is an outpatient practice that has had a great reputation for patient care in the community for many years. It's focus is on health education, preventive medicine and disease management to deliver high quality patient care that is the Best for Primary Care. Office Hours: 8:00 - 4:30 pm Mon-Friday. (Physician schedule is flexible based on their patient panel). Additional Services: COPC has their own Lab, radiology services and vaccine repository. COPC has a Care Navigation team available to answer medical questions when their Physician is seeing other patients during the day. COPC Same Day Centers & Pediatric Support Centers are open for COPC patients needing immediate medical care when their PCP is unavailable during the day, evenings and weekends. COPC Hospitalist Team provides care for COPC patients in the hospital. COPC uses state of the art EMR - EPIC. Completed a three year Internal Medicine Residency. Obtained a board-certification from American Board of Internal Medicine. Active medical license in the state of Ohio. Extensive medical knowledge, including understanding various diseases, their diagnoses and appropriate treatments, and preventive healthcare methods Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly explain complex medical conditions and treatments and listen to a patient's concerns with empathy. Effective problem-solving abilities are essential in this role. A physician must be able to analyze a patient's symptoms and medical history, make accurate diagnoses and chart the best course of treatment. The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain patience while dealing with patients of all ages, backgrounds and temperaments is of utmost importance.
