PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cytopathologist to join a hospital-based practice in Statesboro, Georgia. Candidates based in the Savannah, Pooler, Hinesville, and Augusta areas are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday-Friday) offering a unique opportunity to lead and shape a local pathology service while benefiting from the resources and subspecialty support of PathGroups national network.
This role is ideal for a pathologist who values autonomy, enjoys a broad scope of general surgical pathology, and is looking for a highly compensated position with long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sign-out of general surgical pathology cases and cytology cases
- Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
- Clinical pathology oversight as needed
- Participation in tumor boards and clinical discussions
- Leadership of quality initiatives and laboratory operations
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
- Eligible for Georgia medical license
- Strong diagnostic skills and commitment to quality
- Comfortable practicing independently with regional support available
