The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at the University of Utah is seeking outstanding candidate for a clinical track faculty position. Academic rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with experience.

This position is based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and involves providing comprehensive nephrology care across outpatient clinics, dialysis units, and inpatient consult services. The role also offers opportunities for teaching and participation in clinical research.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Board certification in Internal Medicine ( ABIM )
- Board eligibility in Nephrology ( ABIM )
- Eligibility for a Utah medical license

Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Nephrology ( ABIM )

The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension is a dynamic academic unit comprising 37 faculty members and 13 advanced practice clinicians. We provide education, patient care, and research in all areas of renal disease and hypertension. Our consultation services span University of Utah Health, community hospitals, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, offering exposure to general nephrology, hypertension, renal transplantation (including combined pancreas-kidney transplants), and all dialysis modalities. Clinics and dialysis units are located at the University of Utah Hospital, VA Medical Center, and throughout Utah.
