Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive management of critically ill patients in a closed ICU setting
· Serve as the attending physician of record for ICU patients
· Perform and oversee critical care procedures (e.g., intubations, central and arterial line placement)
· Lead interdisciplinary rounds and coordinate patient-centered care plans
· Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, nursing, respiratory therapy, and support staff
· Ensure accurate, timely documentation and adherence to coding and billing standards
· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and system-wide clinical protocols
· Support onboarding and mentorship of new providers within the program
Schedule & Coverage
· 15 shifts per month, including a mix of days, nights, and weekends
· Closed ICU model with dedicated intensivist coverage
· Team-based scheduling approach designed to promote work-life balance
Qualifications
· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
· Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
· Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and team-based care
· Strong procedural and critical thinking skills in high-acuity settings
