Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Colorectal Surgeon to join an established and collaborative surgical practice focused on treating conditions of the small bowel, colon, and rectum. This role involves providing comprehensive care for both benign and malignant conditions using a variety of techniques, including traditional, laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and endoscopic procedures. The position offers a supportive team environment with experienced physicians, physician assistants, and clinical staff, along with access to advanced surgical technology and resources.
Shift / Schedule:
Full-time position
Call schedule: Shared equally, not exceeding 1:3 rotation
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of colorectal conditions, including both benign and malignant diseases
Perform surgical procedures utilizing open, laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic techniques
Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care
Participate in an equitable call rotation schedule
Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered care environment
Support practice growth through patient engagement and referral relationships
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
Completion of an accredited Colorectal Surgery Fellowship Program
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Colorectal Surgery
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
DEA certification
