Orthopedic Surgeon - Adult Reconstructive

Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstructive procedures. This position offers the chance to practice within a high-volume surgical program supported by a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers and a well-established trauma service. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a Level II Trauma Center environment, along with access to modern facilities and technology.
Shift / Schedule:
Full-time position
Call schedule: 1:5 rotation, including trauma call
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures with a focus on adult reconstruction and joint replacement
Provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Participate in trauma call coverage as part of a rotating schedule
Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a 1:1 care model
Utilize dedicated operating room block time for surgical cases
Engage with an established referral network to support patient volume
Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
Contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered care environment
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including orthopedic trauma specialists and support staff
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction (preferred, not required)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
DEA certification
Open to both experienced surgeons and recent fellowship-trained candidates
