Breast Surgeon - Full-Time (1.0 FTE) | Renton, WA

Valley Medical Center is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Breast Surgeon to join our team of skilled, stable, and well-established surgeons. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. Our approachable and dedicated leadership fosters an open, supportive environment for both patients and staff and is deeply committed to leading with a genuine passion for improving lives.

About the position:

  • General Schedule: Four clinical days per week with a mix of clinic and OR. One administrative day per week.

  • 100% breast surgery with no elective general surgery. Dedicated OR block time.

  • Join a group of five surgeons, including three general surgeons (two of whom perform breast surgery) and two colorectal surgeons.

  • Well-supported by a group of five experienced surgical PAs and well-established clinic staff.

  • Lead our Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer clinic as the first Fellowship-Trained Breast Surgeon for the Valley Clinic Network.

  • Radiology support with a Breast Center for imaging and on-site Nuclear Medicine.

  • High-Risk Screening and Genetics clinic for high-risk screening protocol patients and genetic testing and counseling.

  • Collaborate with Oncology in development of our new on-site Cancer Center.

  • Call: 1:6 group call, shared between General Surgeons and Colorectal Surgeons covering our established patients. No ED call. Full 24/7 support by the Acute Care Surgery team.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgery

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified through the American Board of Surgery

  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

  • Clinical experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

BASE SALARY: $430,000 - $545,000

Compensation package also includes productivity incentives, strategic incentive, sign-on incentive and relocation allowance.
