Required Skills:

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services
• Strong clinical skills in obstetric emergencies and routine care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a hospitalist or inpatient OB setting
• Knowledge of Level 3B NICU protocols
• Familiarity with gynecological emergency procedures
• BLS and NRP certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of relevant obstetric hospitalist experience
• Prior work in a hospital with high delivery volume

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or around 02/01/2026
• Ability to handle emergent gynecological situations
• Willingness to collaborate with multiple specialties, including general surgery, ER, and anesthesia teams
• Commitment to providing excellent patient-centered care
