Job Overview

• Dates: 5/25-5/29
• Hospital Details: 81 Bed Hosp - Level 3 Trauma, 5 Labor Rooms and 6 Post Partum Beds
• Shift Details: Mix of clinic and inpatient call coverage
• Job Details:
  • Clinic 2-3 days per week
  • Call will be 24/7
  • Midwives in Clarendon that take First Call, the Locum will take Second Call
  • Locum will be required to round on inpatients in the hospital daily (even on weekends)
  • Average number of inpatients rounded on per day: 0-5 patients (based on census)
  • Average 20-25 clinic patients per day
  • Average number deliveries per day: 1
  • Average 2-4 NST/observations daily (this varies)
  • Must be comfortable working at a rural facility and working independently
  • Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, as well as C-sections (Circs not required)
  • ED consults for OBGYN patients as needed
• Client Requirements: BC or BE OBGYN, Active SC license, DEA and SC CSR (required prior to credentialing)
• EMR: EPIC
