Pediatrician (Inpatient & Outpatient Hybrid) Medix is partnering with a leading healthcare facility to identify a dedicated and versatile Pediatrician to join their clinical team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a clinician to manage a diverse patient load through a hybrid model that encompasses both hospitalist duties and outpatient clinic care. We are seeking a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents within a supportive community setting. Job Responsibilities Provide full-scope medical care, including well-child checks, immunizations, and acute sick visits. Manage Level I nursery operations, overseeing an average newborn census of 3-5 patients. Attend emergency C-sections as requested by the OB department. Provide coverage for the local Emergency Room and newborn nursery. Conduct morning nursery rounds starting at 7:00 a.m. before transitioning to the clinic. Maintain a clinical volume of approximately 25 patients per day, with opportunities for production-based bonuses. Required Skills and Qualifications Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility for recent graduates). Ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities effectively. Comfort level acting as a hospitalist for newborn and emergency pediatric needs. Open to New Graduates; mentorship and a collaborative environment are provided. Schedule and Shift Details Flexible scheduling options available with a standard rotation of one week on and two weeks off (contingent on department staffing). On-call commitment: Approximately 7-10 days per month (24-hour call). Clinical hours generally begin at 10:00 a.m. following hospital rounds. High earning potential through hospital call stipends and clinic productivity. Compensation and Benefits Annual Earning Potential: $280,000.00 - $350,000.00 (Total compensation varies based on W2 vs. 1099 preference and clinical volume). Flexible employment structures available (W2 or 1099). Productivity bonuses available for patient volumes exceeding the daily standard.
