Pediatrician- primary care- Heber City, Utah
- Heber Valley Pediatrics
- Heber City, Utah
- Full Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a Pediatrician (MD, DO, NP, PA) to join our team due to the upcoming departure of a provider relocating to be closer to family. While we prefer a candidate interested in buying into the clinic, we are open to accommodating those who may not have the ability to do so.
At our clinic, we prioritize the autonomy of our providers, allowing them to deliver necessary care to their patients without management dictating the pace or methods of treatment. Our goal is to create an environment where providers can work independently, free from the oversight and demands of larger healthcare organizations.
The clinic is small, and all business operations, including employee management, are overseen by one of the owners, enabling providers to focus solely on patient care. As a provider, you will have full input into how the clinic is run and can choose to be as involved or uninvolved with business operations as you prefer. Currently, the clinic is majority-owned by a managing owner (not a provider), but there is an opportunity for you to buy out and obtain majority ownership.
We are looking for someone who wants to take this clinic and make it their own or someone who desires the flexibility not offered by larger clinics and work on their own schedule.
Our patient population includes many Spanish speakers, and while our Medical Assistants provide interpretation services, a provider who speaks Spanish would significantly enhance your patient base quickly.

Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing expert medical care in a vibrant environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning!
Why we prefer ownership
We prefer ownership because of the mission we have as a clinic. We wanted to start a small clinic and a team that cares deeply about the work life/team environment, patient care, and committed to making a small clinic work. We had the vision of creating a clinic where providers can do what they do best while enjoying the benefits of running your own clinic. When a provider has ownership in that clinic they are more fully committed to making that happen. We have run a few clinics and the most successful, most enjoyable teams to work with are the ones that providers are committed to the clinic through ownership. We would like to encourage ownership, so if buying in up front isn't an option we would like to work ownership into compensation packages.
