Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:
Full-time position (4 days per week) working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am-6pm with lunch break from 12-1pm
Schedule includes pre-charting, clinic time, and additional charting time
Manage a panel of established patients and take on new patients
Field calls during clinic time as part of regular hourly responsibilities
Collaborate with APPs and nurses regarding treatment parameters for patients
Respond to any treatment reactions and manage urgent situations until rapid response team arrives
Sign chemotherapy orders while nursing staff administers treatments
Answer nurse questions and respond to patient reactions in the infusion section of the clinic
Handle patient questions and participate in daily triage system
Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
Position requires hospital privileges as this is a hospital-based practice
Board Certification required
Active Oregon license and Oregon DEA required
BLS certification required
Guaranteed 40 hours per week with overtime applying after 40 hours
May also work in Oregon City
