Gastroenterology Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage with rounding
• Weekend Requirements: Yes, part of the schedule
• Open Dates: 7a 12/21/2026 through 7a 12/28/2026

Clinical Details :

• The provider will be covering the hospital, so rounding on any inpatients, doing procedures as needed, and covering any ED & inpatient consults
• Cover any current GI patients/consults, as handed off by one of five local GI's, handle any new ED or inpatient consults/needs, then hand back off to one of our five local GIs
• 196-bed acute care hospital
• Bread and Butter GI
• ERCP training preferred
• 100% adult inpatient; pediatric cases seen in the ER only
  • No inpatient peds line
• EMR: Epic

Requirements :

• Board Certified GI
• Active GA license at time of submission
• GA DEA/CSR
• BLS, ACLS
• Clean Malpractice/Background for quick credentialing
• Provider must be local, no flights
• Self-Query NPDB report (Should be pulled within 30 days)
