Opportunity Details A hospital 30 minutes from Phoenix, Arizona, has an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage. Opportunity Details: Level I Trauma Shift Type: 24-hour call shifts Patient Population: High acuity 2 CVORs, 20-bed CVICU Duties: Provide management for cardiothoracic surgery patients across the continuum of care, deliver surgical coverage, consults, daily rounding, and on-call duties Support Staff: ICU team, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, APPs, perfusionists, and OR staff Procedures Required: CABG, valve surgery, ECMO, emergent post-PCI, Type A aortic dissections, chest exploration/re-entry/postoperative bleeding management, temporary mechanical circulatory support management, TAVR EMR: Cerner + iMed Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses included During your time off, explore desert parks and scenic trails, visit downtown filled with murals, local boutiques, and hidden alleyway art, and shop at outdoor shopping districts.
