Emergency Medicine Physician

A health services organization in Mississippi is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join its high-acuity emergency department in Meridian. The role offers the chance to provide patient-centered emergency care in a collaborative clinical environment. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Full-time Setting: Emergency Department Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions Evaluate, diagnose, and stabilize patients in a high-acuity emergency department Collaborate with advanced practice providers and the broader clinical team to support patient flow and continuity of care Document patient encounters and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record Manage cases in a Level III trauma center while maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine Active state medical license Board certification Active DEA registration for the state of application Case logs for the past 2 years If not ABEM, current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications Desired Skills: Experience working in a high-volume emergency department Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems Experience in a community hospital or trauma center setting
