N/A Location: Iron Mountain, MI Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Type: Locum Tenens Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Reason: Supplemental Coverage Period: Sep 6 - Ongoing Specific Shifts to Fill: Sep 6-13 Sep 27 - Oct 11 Oct 18-25 Nov 15-29 Dec 7-13, 21-27 Schedule: 6p-6p shifts; ~10 days per month Coverage Type: Clinical plus call (beeper); 15-minute response time Patient Volume: Clinic ~12/day; hospital 1-2/day Annual Deliveries: Average 319 (2025) Admissions/Rounding: Admissions 1-2; rounding included Clinical Duties: Provide prenatal clinic visits (limited volume) and cover call on weekdays Manage low-risk pregnancies and deliveries; interpret FHR/NST/CST/FSE Manage complicated deliveries and perform routine deliveries Repair 3rd-4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology: IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, cystoscopy, etc. Surgical gynecology as needed Supervise APPs when required Facility & Support: Beds in department: 10 Trauma Level IV; Pediatrics Level I Support staff: 2 APPs, 1 MA, 1 office staff EMR: Cerner Temporary privileges available; hospital privileges required Logistics & Coverage: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Temporary privileges available Requirements: Michigan license or willing to obtain BC/BE in OB/GYN BLS certification
