Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Toledo, OH Are you an experienced OB Hospitalist seeking flexible, impactful locum opportunities? What You'll Do: Provide expert obstetric care in a fast-paced hospital setting, managing high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, performing deliveriesincluding C-sections and VBACsand collaborating closely with OB residents and nursing staff. Cover shifts primarily on weekends and select weekday hours, contributing to a supportive team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Required Skills: Valid medical license in Ohio Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology Proven experience managing high-volume L&D units Strong clinical judgment in high-risk obstetric scenarios Excellent communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Ultrasound interpretation proficiency Experience with OB procedures such as operative deliveries and gynecological surgeries Prior work in teaching or hospital-based environments Familiarity with EMR systems like EPICT Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience in a level III NICU setting preferred Demonstrated ability to handle diverse obstetric cases with confidence Other Requirements: Availability for scheduled shifts on specific dates in July and August 2026 Ability to work in a Level 4 L&D unit with Level 1 nursery support Willingness to travel (if applicable) and undergo credentialing processes Certification in current ACLS/PALS Willing to participate in ongoing education and hospital protocols Step into a rewarding role that combines professional growth with flexible scheduling and competitive pay at $19.50/hour.
