Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Details:
Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist services on a call-only schedule
Work 24-hour beeper call shifts from 6am to 6am
Coverage needed for specific dates: June 25-29, July 2-7, July 23-27, and July 30-August 1
Must have active California medical license and DEA registration
Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
NRP certification required along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Must have clean malpractice history and clear NPDB record
Required skills include neonatal airway management and intubation
Manage neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression
Perform emergent UVC placement in delivery room settings
Conduct UVC/UAC placement and lumbar puncture procedures
EKG interpretation capabilities required
Preferred skills include ventilator management and chest tube insertion for neonates
Must demonstrate 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in pediatrics
Credentialing timeframe approximately 15 days
Updated CV with all hospital affiliations required upon presentation

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
