Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
Full-time gastroenterology hospitalist role covering two facilities: Sacred Heart and Holy Family
Weekday coverage 8am-5pm with no nights or weekends required
Minimum 14 shifts per month with guaranteed 8 hours per day
5 patient encounters per shift in inpatient setting with potential outpatient procedures
Must have completed GI Fellowship and be board certified
Active Washington state license or IMLC required
DEA registration required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
Conduct diagnostic ERCP, esophageal dilatation/manometry, and manometry interpretation
Perform small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy
Execute colonoscopies with biopsy and polyp excision capabilities
Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy experience required
90-day credentialing timeframe
Opportunity to perform outpatient procedures if desired
