RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for a locums Emergency Medicine opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Details

Coverage Dates: 7/13/2026 - 12/31/2026
Providers must be able to pick up 3 or more available shifts
Shift Times:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Single physician coverage
No APC support

Available Shifts

July

Nights: 19, 20
Days: 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30

August

Nights: 1, 2, 5, 17, 18, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
Days: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 14, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29

Facility Details

Smaller community Emergency Department with lower patient volume
Average census: 13 patients per day
10-bed Emergency Department
Temp privileges available
No malpractice tail required due to temp privileges

Provider Requirements

ABEM required
Emergency Medicine residency trained required
No new graduates
Active South Carolina license required at time of submission
Comfortable practicing independently in a single coverage environment
