Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Hourly Pay Rate: $575.00 - $625.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologist to cover general acute care hospital duties at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. The role involves performing essential procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams, biopsies (thyroid, lung, etc.), and interventional radiology procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, abscess drainage, chest tubes, and suprapubic catheters. The candidate must possess skilled procedural capabilities in acute care imaging, including stroke CTs and emergency department/ICU imaging studies.

This position supports hospital coverage during scheduled shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on specific dates: July 10th, 13th-17th, 27th-31st August 3rd, 31st September 4th, October 2nd, 5th-9th, November 23rd-27th, 30th, December 4th, and December 21-25, 28th-January 1st. The work involves interpreting diagnostic studies such as CTs, X-rays, ultrasounds, and performing IR procedures predominantly on an outpatient basis, including coverage for both inpatient acute care and outpatient imaging needs.

The role requires credentialing with other facilities, experience with Cerner EMR, and support from diagnostic imaging nurses and tech staff. Travel and lodging arrangements should be specified according to the client s preferences, with local travel preferred.
