Pediatrics Physician

Locum tenens Pediatric Radiologist opportunity in Detroit, MI (48201) - fellowship-trained, CAQ eligible or certified physicians needed for on-site pediatric imaging coverage at a Level 1 pediatric facility.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Location: On-site at a Level 1 pediatric facility, Detroit, Michigan (Detroit pediatric radiology jobs; Michigan locum tenens)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens physician - Pediatric Radiology
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks (with ongoing potential)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Coverage Needed: 1 week per month (Ideally Mon-Sun; Thurs-Sun also considered)

• MD or DO, board certified Pediatric Radiologist; Pediatric Radiology fellowship trained
• CAQ in Pediatric Radiology preferred or eligible
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric radiology or pediatric imaging
• BLS certification required
• Clean malpractice record; ability to provide case logs upon request
• Strong skills in pediatric CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and plain radiography

• Provide on-site pediatric radiology coverage including X-ray, ultrasound, and stat CT/MRI reads
• Perform fluoroscopy procedures and other pediatric imaging studies as needed
• Manage an average of approximately 60 patient encounters per shift
• Participate in scheduled call coverage (Mon-Fri: 4p-12a onsite, 12a-8a call; Sat/Sun: 12p-8p onsite, 8p-8a call)
• Collaborate closely with pediatric specialists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality pediatric patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide case logs and quality assurance as requested
