Gastroenterology Physician

Full-Time Gastroenterologist Locums Call Job Central Florida Seeking Coverage Starting ASAP and Ongoing

Jackson and Coker's valued client located on the outskirts of Orlando, Florida is in need of full-time general GI call coverage starting ASAP (likely July start) and ongoing through the end of December at minimum. Looking to add on 3-4 locums GIs to cover a full-time schedule for 1 facility, but with the possibility of the GIs cross covering at a second location 15 minutes away if they feel comfortable with the volume.

Dates of Coverage:
Seeking full-time 24-hour call coverage for the entire month except 2 weekend
Will be expected to work onsite from 7A-7P Monday - Friday & cover night call from 7P - 7A after your inpatient shift
Monday 7AM - Monday 7AM 2x per month
Monday 7AM - Friday 7PM 2x per month

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
+ Active Florida license required
+ Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
+ 24 hour call coverage only (no clinic)
+ Will be covering the ED + doing inpatient rounding and seeing emergent consults (average 10-15 patients total per day)
+ ERCP preferred but NOT required Bread & Butter GI; ERCP/EUS is not a requirement (may be potential for ERCP if you perform them), primarily upper/lower scope cases
+ Will sign out patients to local community doctors and primarily see unattached ED patients
+ 24/7 Anesthesia available
+ Facility detail: not a designated trauma center, 250+ bed facility, Epic EMR
+ Emergency credentials available
