This locum OB/GYN opportunity in Fort Morgan, Colorado offers ongoing 24-hour call coverage beginning in June 2026, with additional dates expected as future schedules are released. The provider will manage general OB/GYN hospital call responsibilities in a community hospital setting, supporting approximately 15 deliveries per month and working alongside nursing staff with access to general surgery backup. The facility is seeking a provider who can cover at least one of the listed initial assignments and potentially provide ongoing monthly coverage.

Ongoing Coverage
- Additional dates expected once future schedules are released
- Approximately locum call shifts available per month
- Providers must be available for at least one of the listed stints to be considered for ongoing coverage
- Provide 24-hour hospital-based OB/GYN call coverage
- Manage general OB/GYN cases, including labor and delivery support
- Care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
- Work in a 50-bed community hospital setting
- Expected delivery volume of approximately 15 deliveries per month
- Collaborate with RN support staff
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Practice in a non-trauma, non-rated call environment
- Coordinate with available general surgery backup 24/7 and limited urology support
- Coverage needed due to current locum provider availability limitations
- Epic EMR training is mandatory before starting
- Pre-application and full application must be submitted within 72 hours of receipt
- Completion of Epic learning modules is required before virtual training
- Virtual Epic training must be completed at least one week before the first shift
- Providers must supply:
- Years of Epic experience
- Date of last Epic use
- Most recent facility where Epic was used
- Professional photo for badge creation
- Time zone for training scheduling
- Preferred phone number and email address for onboarding
- Board Certified OB/GYN or Truly Board Eligible (within 0 5 years of residency completion) Required
- Active Colorado medical license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification at submission Required
- Active DEA registration Highly Preferred; required for credentialing
- Active BLS certification Highly Preferred; required during credentialing
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
- Clean malpractice and background history Highly Preferred
- Must acknowledge and complete all Epic training requirements Required
- Must acknowledge hotel and travel requirements Required
- Must specify the number of ongoing shifts available per month Required
- Emergency privileges available for providers with a clean credentialing file
- Standard credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
- Temporary privileges may be available in 30 days or less
- Emergency privileges available when eligible
- Active Colorado license or IMLC and NPDB report required before pre-application release.
