This 300-bed acute care facility operates as a Level III Trauma center with a Level I Nursery designation. The institution maintains established protocols and resources to support comprehensive inpatient cardiac services. Dedicated clinical staff are available to support interventional cardiology coverage on an on-site basis.

West Virginia offers outdoor enthusiasts access to New River Gorge National Park, which features hiking trails and scenic views. The state provides a range of recreational activities including jet boat tours, zipline experiences, and designated swing installations known as "Almost Heaven Swings," with one located at Bluestone Lake.

The interventional cardiologist will provide call coverage with rounding responsibilities at this 300-bed acute care facility. The clinician will manage inpatient interventional cardiology cases and respond to call as required on an on-site basis. Duties include rounding on admitted cardiac patients and performing procedures as credentialed by the facility.
