Urology Physician

Carle Health Methodist Hospital is actively recruiting a Board Certified Urologist for a clinic-based locum assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

This is a true outpatient-focused role with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
• No nights, no weekends, no call
• Flexible structure: 2 weeks on/off or adjusted schedule to average 20 hours/week annually

Practice Setting

• Outpatient urology clinic with routine consults and follow-ups
• No inpatient call coverage required
• EPIC EMR
• 329-bed Level II hospital with established support staff

Scope

• General urology clinic work
• Evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management of urologic conditions
• No after-hours charting billed separately; documentation expected within standard workflow

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology (MD or DO)
• Active Illinois license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS
• Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
• Two completed professional references required at submission

Credentialing

• No temporary privileges available
• Standard credentialing timeline applies
• Candidates must be fully compliant at time of submission to be considered

Travel

• Mileage + lodging for regional candidates
• Flights available if outside driving distance

Compensation

• $300 $350/hr depending on experience, availability, and credentialing strength
• Orientation paid at daily rate
