Neurology Physician

A Connecticut-based healthcare institution is looking to add a licensed Neurologist to its growing team in Hartford County, focusing on patient follow-ups and specific procedures.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
• Setting: Outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Providing outpatient care to patients with headache concerns
• Performing Botox Injections and Occipital Block Injections
• Managing new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Collaborating with support staff, including medical assistants and nurses
• Participating in patient case discussions and care planning
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Headache Fellowship
• Medical Degree (MD) with valid licensure
• Expertise in performing Botox and Occipital Block Injections
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Compassionate patient care

Desired Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience with Headache Management
• Fellowship in Headache Specialization
• Certification in Neurocritical Care
