Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible; day coverage with consults, procedures, and follow-ups

On-Call Shift Schedule: May include nightly or every-other-night call depending on location

Call Type: Inpatient + Phone

Call Ratio: Minimum 1 week per month coverage required

Multiple dates throughout May with ongoing flexible scheduling through October 31, 2026

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 10-20 patients per day

Case Mix: Inpatient consults, follow-ups, and GI procedures including colonoscopy, endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS

Office Equipment Available: Fully staffed endoscopy unit

Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-based multidisciplinary support

Support Staff Available: Advanced Practice Providers and GI support staff

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days

Licenses: Active FL license required

Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology

DEA: Required

Certifications: Not Specified

Experience: Demonstrated recent procedural volume (EUS and inpatient consults required)

Other Qualifications: Must meet procedural log requirements and credentialing standards

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults and follow-up care

Perform GI procedures including ERCP and EUS

Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary hospital team

Participate in call coverage as assigned

Maintain accurate clinical documentation
