Neurology Physician

• Specialty: Neuro Hospitalist
• Location: Loveland, Colorado
• Schedule: 24-hour shifts
  • Inpatient and telestroke coverage: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Night call: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
• Volume: shifts per month
• Patient Population: Adult only
• Setting: 100% Inpatient
• Average Census: Approximately 15 patients per day
• Team Structure:
  • 5 Physicians in practice
  • No APP supervision required
• Support:
  • Dedicated stroke team
  • Full hospital staffing support
  • Lab and imaging onsite
  • Other neurologists available during coverage
• EMR: Epic

• Primary Stroke Center
• 45 ICU beds
• Level I III Trauma support
• 12 rehabilitation beds
• Access to thrombectomy stroke transfer support through a centralized physician line

Provider will rotate coverage between three hospital locations in the Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley areas.

• Board Certified in Neurology
• Active Colorado license highly preferred
  • Will consider providers with active IMLC and Letter of Qualification
• Telestroke experience required
• Must specify availability for both day and night coverage
• Clean malpractice and background history required
• BLS certification required prior to start
• COVID vaccination required
