Overview

Transfusion Medicine Pathology locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina. Ongoing coverage at a Level I trauma center supporting an established blood bank and transfusion medicine program.

Assignment Details

• Location: North Carolina
• Setting: Inpatient/Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed ( 30-60 days)
• Contract Type: 3-6 months (ongoing need during recruitment)

Schedule

• Full-time, weekday onsite coverage
• Rotating night and weekend call

Clinical Details

• Scope includes transfusion medicine and blood bank services
• Procedures: Pre-transfusion services, apheresis, donor services
• EMR: Epic
• Collaborative team of 4 clinical pathologists

Requirements

• Board Certified in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine (ABP subspecialty required)
• Active North Carolina license (or IMLC with ability to obtain)
• Active DEA (NC)
• 3-5+ years of experience (required)
• Clean malpractice and background preferred
