Gastroenterology Physician

A healthcare organization is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist for an ongoing locums assignment offering a flexible schedule, low call volume, and strong support.

Position Highlights:

• Ongoing assignment (up to 12 months)
• 24-hour call schedule (Friday 5:00 PM Friday 5:00 PM)
• 14 consecutive days per assignment ( 2 weeks/month)
• Low overnight call volume
• Strong APP and Hospitalist support
• Travel and lodging provided

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based GI Lab
• Inpatient and outpatient procedures

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Colonoscopy
• EGD with banding
• EUS
• ERCP (preferred, not required)
• Rounding with APP support

Volume & Support:

• procedures per day
• 2 APPs providing nightly support
• Admissions handled by Hospitalist team
• On-site anesthesia available

EMR:

• Cerner transitioning to Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Arkansas medical license
• DEA required
• Clean malpractice history preferred
