Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 9/8/2026
• Schedule: 10p-8a, (single coverage 2a-6a)
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 12
• Part Time

Clinical Details

• ED Visits: 40,000 per year
• Procedures: Simple procedures, procedural sedation, joint reductions, rarely chest tubes or central lines
• EMR: Epic
• On-Site Helicopter service
• Certified Chest Pain Center (door-to-call in under 30 mins)
• Certified Stroke Center (utilize teleneurology)
• ED is supported by attending physicians in all major specialties and subspecialty fields including ortho trauma, general trauma, neurosurgery, and CT surgery
• Will work solo
• 65% Adults, 35% Peds
• Support Staff: Experienced NP's in the ED

Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Boards Accepted: ABEM
• State License Required: Illinois
• Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, CSR, DEA
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• Must be able to cover a minimum of 6 shifts per month
