Schedule- Open to all availability
- Standard schedule: 5 x 10-hour shifts
- Cases begin at 7:30 AM
- Must remain until all cardiac OR and cath lab cases are completed
- Day typically ends between 3:00 5:00 PM depending on case load
- Home call coverage
- Evening call split among attending physicians
- Weeknight call rotated among providers
- Weekend call: Friday Sunday rotation (single provider coverage)
- 300 cardiac bypass cases annually
- 500 total cardiac surgical cases annually
- 200 cardiac catheterization cases annually
- 800 total anesthetics annually across the group
Pediatric cardiac anesthesia coverage including:
- Congenital and acquired heart disease cases
- Cardiac surgery requiring cardiopulmonary bypass
- VAD placement and heart transplant cases
- Cardiac catheterization lab anesthesia coverage
- EP lab coverage
- Perioperative consults for cardiac patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery
- Hemodynamic monitoring and critical physiologic management in complex pediatric and congenital populations
- Pediatric cardiac anesthesia for infants, children, and adolescents
- Management of complex congenital cardiac physiology
- Cardiopulmonary bypass cases
- Interventional cardiology and catheterization procedures
- Coordination with multidisciplinary surgical and ICU teams
- Supervision of CRNAs and trainees as applicable
EPIC
Licensure- Oklahoma medical license required
- Will accept pending licensure (credentialing can proceed in parallel)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Strong experience in complex congenital heart disease preferred
- Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass cases highly desirable
Seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a high-volume, multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac program in Oklahoma City. Provider will deliver perioperative anesthesia care for complex congenital and acquired heart disease patients across surgical, catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures. This role requires expertise in advanced pediatric cardiac physiology, critical care coordination, and intraoperative management in a collaborative team-based environment.
