Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board Eligible Hematologist for a full-time, ongoing opportunity starting in early August. This position focuses strictly on Hematology/Oncology and includes both outpatient clinic and inpatient call responsibilities.

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Clinic Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
• Call Structure: Hospital Call: 1:4 weekly rotation (Friday 07:30 Friday 07:30).
• Rounding: 1 2 hours daily (Mon Sun), with additional weekday afternoon rounding from 16 00.
• Clinic Call: Shared weekday call for add-on consults and supervision of patients for absent providers.

• Patient Care: Management of acute leukemic patients and inpatient chemotherapy patients. Phone consults are common, but physical call-back is rare.
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies are required.
• Supervision: Each provider supervises their own patients in the Chemo Clinic.
• Support Staff: Work alongside 3 MDs and 3 APPs, with robust support from RNs, MAs, navigators, and infusion RNs. Radiation Oncology services are available on-site.
• EMR: Cerner.

• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology/Oncology.
• Life Support: Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Clinical Focus: Hematology/Oncology specialty (no Med-Onc).

• Credentialing: 60-day timeline.
