Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

New Hematologist/Oncologist Locums Job in Louisiana

Are you interested in working in a charming small-town atmosphere, with a vibrant local culture, and proximity to the scenic beauty of Louisiana's bayou country? We are working with a facility that is looking for locum oncology coverage starting in August.

Dates of coverage: Starting in August, looking for as close to Full time as possible. Ongoing position through 2024 with a high chance of extension.

Details/Requirements:
90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
50/50 Hem/Onc split
Night or weekend call requirement: 1 week out of 4
Must be Board Certified in Medical Oncology
No procedures are required
Patient types: Adult oncology and hematology - no transplants or acute leukemias are required
Schedule and shift times: Monday-Friday clinic, flexible on clinic times, 8am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5pm
Average patients per day: 15-20
EMR system: Meditech for Hospital and Varian Manger for Oncology clinic
Must have an active Louisiana license or ability to obtain through IMLC.
