Allegheny Health Network (AHN)is building the future in its Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. AHN Imaging is recruiting for a Quality Officer to provide essential leadership in establishing and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence across all imaging modalities within AHN. These roles are crucial for developing robust quality initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborates with Division Directors and Radiation Physics Quality Committees to establish and implement system-wide protocols for all imaging modalities.
  • Works closely with the Quality, Safety, and Value department to improve radiation usage and overall quality throughout the system, while also documenting associated metrics.
  • Establishes a systematic model for addressing and resolving quality issues within the department.
  • Serves as the physician lead for Departmental QA meetings, and attends PIOC or hospital equivalent committees, representing radiology quality and safety interests.
  • Attend ACR Conference on Quality & Safety or comparable conference as deemed appropriate. .

Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of ACGME approved Radiology Residency
  • Completion of ACGME approved Abdominal/Body Imaging Fellowship
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required
  • For on-site/hybrid positions: Opportunities to participate in the residency and medical student training programs
  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
