Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in La Grange, Texas

A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in La Grange, Texas.
This is a full-time outpatient position with a Monday to Friday schedule, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, and occasional Saturday shifts on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. The credentialing process typically takes 30 days, with a possibility of extending to 45 days. The role is open to MDs or DOs only at this time, with no call responsibilities. Patient volume averages 1822 per day, and the provider must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages, including children. Candidates must have a Texas medical license, DEA, and be board certified or board eligible, with a clean malpractice history preferred. COVID and flu vaccinations are preferred. The practice uses NextGen EMR, and experience with this system is strongly desired. The support team includes one family medicine physician, one pediatrician, and RN/MA staff
