An Obstetrician is a medical professional, who plays a crucial role in the healthcare industry. They specialize in pregnancy, childbirth, and women's reproductive systems. Their job responsibilities include providing prenatal care, delivering babies, and offering postpartum care. These medical experts also handle pregnancy and childbirth complications like ectopic pregnancies, fetal distress, and high blood pressure disorders. Obstetricians also perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed during childbirth. Besides, they conduct routine checkups and provide health education regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care.
